Somewhere lives an old tree
covered not by its leaves, long gone,
but by thousands of small papers attached to its branches.
Those pieces of papers
contained the dreams of
travelers who gave up on them,
whether it is because they lack time,
or simply because they were discouraged by their surrounding.
This tree, understanding the pain of those poor beings,
gave up on its own leaves
to become a symbol of hope,
to become the carrier of broken dreams,
to relieve humans of this suffering known as disappointment.
It made a promise
to carry those dreams throughout the ages
and make them exist for all eternity,
never to die,
never to be forgotten.
